06/05/2006: Allison Allbaugh has achieved her USDF Bronze Medal! Allison rode her horse, Genuine Risk, in their first Third Level classes at the Fort Vancouver Dressage Show, scoring a 61.7% and a 64.5%, earning the final two scores needed for a USDF Bronze Medal, awarded to riders with 6 scores of 60% or higher: 2 at First level, 2 at Second level, and 2 at Third level.

H. Szovaljo, shown by Allison, won the USDF All-Breeds Award for
Champion Hungarian 2 Year Old Colt AND the high point Hungarian Colt 3
and Under!! He he was also Reserve Champion for 2 Year Old Colts (all
breeds) from the Northwest Sport Horse Breeders Association!
Allison and Genuine Risk took the year off from competition to take a
variety of clinics. Clinicians included long-time coach Pat Kabasa, as well as
new clinicians such as Steffen Ajem, Gerhard Politz, and Jeremy Steinberg.
Anne Bartlett and Chamberlain qualified for and competed in the Region
6 Dressage Championships and the NW Dressage Champs at First Level
Adult Amateur. They placed 6th in the NW Champs, and had a great time
this year!
Heather McCafferty purchased H. Radiant Flair from Markay Kerr, a
breeder of Hungarian horses. Heather entered her new 2-year-old gelding
in the in-hand shows and he ended up 9th in the nation for 2 yr old colts!
He was Reserve Champion Hungarian 2-yr-old for the USDF All-Breeds
Awards! Congrats on your new horse, Heather!
Mikaela Mulvahill recently purchased a new horse, "Mimsy", a Quarter
Horse mare. Mikaela will continue to get to know Mimsy the remainder of
this year and enjoy Pony Club activities next year. Maybe we'll talk her into
some recognized dressage shows as well!
Kelsea Dougherty took her Pony Club D-3 rating this fall and passed with
flying colors! Congrats Kelsey!
Valerie Siverton's new 2007 babies are fabulous this year!
HS Barat, sired by Hungarian Sir Bungee out of HS Szeblyna, won both of
his classes at his first show, the NWSHBA Breeders Classic. He was also
"reserve champion" of the Best of Breed Showcase!
H Raketa, sired by Val's stallion H Randevu out of H Valahara, won the
NWSHBA Breeders Bonus Award, and placed 2nd in his weanling colts
class! He was also the 2007 Champion Weanling Colt for the NWSHBA!
H Amale, sired by H Szobrasz out of H Aldas (Sam's mom), placed 3rd in
her weanling fillies class. She will be a wonderul broodmare to replace Val's
older mares!
